Build Your Resilience: Tools for Managing the Stress of COVID-19

Course description:  Through the use of structured experiences, interactive presentation and audience engagement, this dynamic session is designed to help understand why we feel more stress due to the pandemic, introduce a framework for understanding our own mental health and wellness, and introduce tools to manage better.

· Understand why you feel anxiety related to COVID-19

· Describe the continuum of mental health: From illness to wellness

· Learn about stress and burnout and the connection between them

· Learn how to reduce your work stress while doing your whole job

· Learn the science of resilience: why some people seem to do better in times of stress

· Learn three personal protection strategies to build resilience and practice 1 of them

· Build a personal resiliency practice
